Michael Jackson house contents auction Prior to being pulled from the sale, the headboard's bidding price was set to start around $3,000-$5,000, though Darren Julien said "we let the market dictate its final price."
(The mattresses from Jackson's death bed were never included in the auction since they were taken away as evidence when he died in 2009.)
