In the first half of the 20th century, when the movie has not been the most popular of all the arts, cinematography reminiscent of the building's operas: they were plush chairs, curtains, purple and gold stucco. In the 1970s with the advent of modern and spacious multicomplex, old theaters have been abandoned and left to crumble. A series of photos of the New York photographer Matt Lambros demonstrates that remained of the motion picture era black and white film after 40 years of neglect.
