Saskatchewan couple win $40 million lottery....

The winners of the $40 million Lotto Max prize are John and Darlene Kinzel. John picked only numbers that included the number four. On a news release John states that he didn’t intend for that to happen: ”I just randomly selected every number. There was no rhyme or reason; they just subconsciously came into my head. Now I like fours.”
The announcement was made at 2 p.m., but some in Paradise Hill already seemed to know who the lottery winners were.
Carolyn Sloan owns the Smokn’ Lens Hotel in Paradise Hill, where the couple celebrated their winnings with pizza and wings on the weekend.
“Everybody came in to congratulate them,” said Sloan, who didn’t name them.
The couple reportedly bought their winning ticket in Lloydminster. Paradise Hill is northwest of North Battleford.
Past Saskatchewan winners of large lottery prizes include:
-$25 million prize to a resident of Île-à-la-Crosse,
-$23 million payout to a resident of Beechy
-$20 million prize to a winner in Carrot River
-$20 million prize to someone in Grayson.
