Alert, Canada

A small village situated on a peninsula of Nunavut, in Canada, only five hundred miles south of the North Pole. Year-round population of only five people. Surrounded by the Arctic Ocean, and with temperatures in the -40 Alert is the most isolated settlements in the world.
