Good Will Hunting house for sale, Good will hunting house 779K The house in which the screenplay for hit movie Good Will Hunting was written has gone up for sale. The house has been made famous by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, who worked together in the residence to put together the famous screenplay for their breakthrough movie.


The 19th century farm which overlooks Los Angeles is unofficially known as the “Good Will Hunting” home.

The listing for the house is held by Los Angeles real estate agent Michael Locke of Keller Williams Los Feliz, according to Forbes.

“We have had a lot of interest, but so far, no one has bit the bullet,” he said. Locke says the house has not been lived in for several years but is in “reasonably good shape for a house of its age.”

“The hardwood floors are in amazing condition; the windows have never been painted, so there’s not layers of paint to be removed. It has a new roof and chimney flue. It’s in an original unspoiled condition except for the kitchen, which was remodeled probably in the 1960′s and needs to be re-done. The big expenses involve the systems (plumbing, electrical, heating, etc.) which seem to be original and therefore probably need to be replaced,” said Locke.

The house was originally listed for $1,274,000 but has recently been reduced to $779,000.
