More Twitter threats Bannatyne slaughter. The face of Bannatyne's stalker? This is the profile image Yuri Vasilyev uses on Twitter while making death threats.Dragons' Den star Duncan Bannatyne admitted today that he is 'living in a nightmare' after a Twitter stalker issued fresh death threats against the Scots tycoon and his daughter. The stalker, calling himself Russian Yuri Vasilyev, has set up a new Twitter account and is posting threats against Mr Bannatyne and his 25-year-old daughter Hollie.
The latest messages Tweeted to Bannatyne by Vasilyev yesterday read: 'dirty b****** we slaughter f****** Hollie Bannatyne' and "dirty b****** death to you'.
The stalker also sent a message to Hollie's account which read: 'Hollie Bannatyne you dirty w****.'
Further, ignorant of the fact that Bannatyne is Scottish, Vasilyev also posted: 'Go home to mommy and cry, English goat.'
The threats began when Vasilyev vowed to snatch Hollie unless her father handed over £35,000 - prompting Mr Bannatyne to offer £50,000 to anyone who broke Vasilyev's arms.
Clydebank-born self-made millionaire Mr Bannatyne, 62, offered a reward of £30,000 for information that led to the arrest of Vasilyev.
Mr Bannatyne was swamped with messages of support posted on Twitter today but simply replied: 'Living in a nightmare.'
He was also urged to delete the stalker's account but said it 'doesn't stop the emails.'
