As of 8:00 Saturday morning, the wind speed at the center of the hurricane, located 450 kilometers southeast of Cape Lookout, North Carolina, reaches 72 miles per hour. As forecast by the National Monitoring Centre for hurricanes, the storm will continue to move in a northwesterly direction to reach the coast within the next day, most likely in the morning on Sunday. The National Weather Service expects that when the "Gabriel" approach to North Carolina, its speed will be about 64, gusting to 80 miles per hour, and on the coast will drop to 150 millimeters of precipitation. In North Carolina, declared a storm warning. "Gabriel" - this is only the second in a row a tropical storm formed in the region during the current hurricane, officially begins on June 1st.
